TLF 0.98 beta — Windows build 0.5.28 beta 2 2026-10-26 ENGLISH Fixed in beta 2: Current metadata owns the page title and background. Only marked HTML body content is reread; old document headings, head styles and pre-marker HTML are no longer copied into it. Recognizable background/footer styles left by earlier builds are filtered during rendering; source HTML stays unchanged. Custom body content and unrelated CSS inside the markers are retained. To change the page heading, edit the title in the source metadata. Reimport the latest Brain export before rebuilding. New: Duplicate project Project Settings → Duplicate project creates a separately named copy with a new ID. Content, media and theme settings are retained. Generated builds, credentials and submissions are excluded. External authored HTML is copied into the new project. Publishing remains blocked until a different website URL is explicitly confirmed; enter hosting settings separately. Fixed: TheBrain navigation order Uses the stored relation positions in TheBrain exports. Existing projects require Update website content with a fresh export before rebuilding. Explicit TLF page order still takes precedence. New: Configurable menu visibility Project Settings → Navigation and content → Visible items per menu section. 0 means Unlimited, the default. All immediate children are shown when a section opens. A positive maximum enables a higher-contrast Show more button. Deeper sections remain individually expandable. Improved: Authored HTML ownership The configured read-only HTML source can be selected as authoritative for marked page content. Rebuilding rereads the body between RP:CONTENT-START / RP:CONTENT-END. Current source metadata determines the page heading and background; local content styles belong inside the markers. Source-vs-HTML conflicts during Brain updates stop for explicit resolution. New: Preserve current homepage Choose Preserve the current homepage under Navigation and content to keep its identity during subsequent Brain updates. Improved: WOW presentation The successful WOW3 fixes are configurable beyond a fixed project name: Dutch/English controls, simple navigation without Explore, covering page-image backgrounds and an immersive dark homepage. Existing configured footer fields also work in WOW. Existing WOW3 defaults are retained. Improved: Build recovery retention After a successful build, keep the current dist plus the last two completed .dist-previous backups. Failed builds keep recovery data. Only recognized completed deployment backups are pruned; unrelated folders and source files are not targeted. New: Version history What’s new in the sidebar and About, plus the local release-note link in Check for Updates. Application remains TLF 0.98 beta; Windows build is 0.5.28, revision 2. Known limitations This is a test candidate for Ton before distribution. Windows installer launch, upgrade preservation/rollback, desktop preview and browser handoff need Windows acceptance testing. Automated regression checks cover imports, page rendering, navigation JavaScript, API settings, duplication, content preservation and backup retention. No live website, hosting or tester notification has been changed. The supplied WOW3 export, graph and HTML were checked together; installation and preview of the complete live projects still require Windows testing. Update instructions Close TLF. Bij een positief maximum verschijnt een beter leesbare Show more-knop. Diepere secties blijven apart uitklapbaar. Verbeterd: Eigen HTML behouden De ingestelde HTML-bronmap kan leidend zijn voor gemarkeerde pagina-inhoud. Elke build leest die opnieuw. De actuele bronmetadata bepaalt de kop en achtergrond; eigen inhoud en lokale stijlen binnen de markeringen blijven behouden. Bij conflicterende Brain- en HTML-wijzigingen stopt de update voor een expliciete keuze. Nieuw: Bestaande homepage behouden Kies Preserve the current homepage om bij volgende Brain-updates dezelfde homepage te behouden. Verbeterd: WOW-weergave De WOW3-reparaties zijn algemeen instelbaar: Nederlandse/Engelse bediening, een eenvoudig menu zonder Explore, paginabeelden als vullende achtergrond en een donkere immersieve homepage. De ingestelde footer werkt ook in WOW. Bestaande WOW3-standaarden blijven behouden. Verbeterd: Build-herstelkopieën Na een geslaagde build blijven de actuele dist en de twee laatste voltooide .dist-previous herstelkopieën behouden. Mislukte builds bewaren hun herstelgegevens.
